The companions are attacking you in Whiterun because you have committed a crime in the city, such as stealing or attacking a member of the community. The companions are known for upholding justice and protecting the citizens of Whiterun, so they will not hesitate to confront and attack anyone who threatens the peace and safety of the city. It is important to either pay off your bounty, serve your time in jail, or try to flee the city to avoid further conflict with the companions. **

Google Maps can still determine your location even when GPS is disabled by using a combination of other technologies such as Wi-Fi and cell tower signals. When GPS is turned off, Google Maps can use Wi-Fi signals from nearby routers and information from cell towers to approximate your location. This is known as "Wi-Fi positioning" or "cell tower triangulation," and it allows Google Maps to provide an estimated location based on the available signals in the area. However, this method may not be as accurate as GPS, but it can still give a general idea of your location. **
